Calamity is a blessing for a mystical traveler and patience in calamity is the best patience. The prophets and God’s saints were greeted to calamities with great pleasure. It is quoted that: “A slave as much as is closer to God he will get into calamities more and meanwhile, he as well, will be happier; as Imam Hussein (peace be upon him) was so, on ASHURA’s day. Despite the above-mentioned matters, a mystical traveler must not demand calamity instead of the blessing from God. A prayer has quoted from infallible Imams: ” O’ God, protect me from calamities and if you put a calamity upon me, make me patient, though, calamity and blessing are from you, however, I more prefer blessing and healthiness .”
It is cleared that an infallible Imam is not asking for calamity but a blessing and healthiness from the glorified God.
