A human is required to meet a skillful doctor in their physical illnesses. When a doctor gives them a prescription, they take it to the pharmacy at once and follow it with neither a question or complaint.
In the same manner, a mystical traveler will undergo spiritual illnesses under the guidance of his spiritual master. It is necessary for a mystical traveler to follow what their master knows as correct and sensible. Otherwise, they would hinder their improvement by having uncertainties, questions, and complaints. By passing time and improving the practical mysticism levels, the traveler will come to understand that what has been done by their master was appropriate. This dynamic can be best represented by a story in the Quran of the prophet Moses and his master prophet Khidr.
