Not only are good things a blessing for us; even bad things are a blessing too. For instance someone comes to bother you by swearing and bad-mouthing you, your heart will break and in this moment the divine address comes that “I (God) am present in broken hearts”. Therefore the one with the bad behavior caused you to become closer to God through invocation and supplication to God. Whereas you would have been angry towards someone who swore and bothered you but if you look into your luminous inside and conscience you will admit because of this event you have to be grateful for this blessing, and God likes those who are grateful. Although it does not mean we always have to accept oppression in all cases.
